Bánh Mì is a classic Vietnamese sandwich characterized by its crispy baguette bread, marinated vegetables, a selection of local meats, and cilantro.
It’s a perfect sandwich for a quick lunch and absolutely delicious with Saigon Gourmet Lemongrass Sauce.

 

Marinate the chicken in Saigon Gourmet Lemongrass and Pepper MARINADE for 15 minutes.

Grill the chicken in a pan over medium heat for 12-15 minutes.

Slice the chicken into strips.

Open the baguette halves and add mayonnaise, carrot, and cucumber.

Add the grilled chicken strips and fresh cilantro.

Garnish with SAIGON GOURMET SPICY CRISP SAUCE, if desired.

Note: To add variety to your menu, substitute the chicken for the protein of your choice: marinated lemongrass tofu for a vegetarian option or thin slices of marinated lemongrass beef. For pork lovers, try the Bánh Mì with Nem Nướng sausages.

270 g of boneless chicken thighs, cut into 4 pieces

4 cilantro sprigs

1/2 sliced English cucumber

50g peeled and julienned carrot

Mayonnaise, to taste
