Grilled General Tao Style Tofu Burger

This grilled General Tao style tofu burger is simply delicious. Let Saigon Gourmet’s Ginger Sweet & Sour General Tao Style Sauce add some kick to your burger!

Preparation

  1. Cut the tofu into two slices and sear over high heat for 3 minutes.
  2. Add the ginger sweet & sour sauce and allow it to reduce over medium heat for 2 minutes while stirring the tofu.
  3. Remove the tofu and set the sauce aside for assembly.
  4. Cut open the Kaiser buns and top with the reduced Sweet-and-Sour Sauce.
  5. Add the cooked and seasoned tofu, the tomato slices, the bean sprouts, the arugula and Boston lettuce leaves.
  6. Garnish with green onions. Add salt and pepper to taste.
